Giving SBS Discovery their own online TV platform

Mediability has in record time set up an online TV platform for SBS Discovery with both live streaming and video on demand. The solution has been developed in close collaboration with the client and Accenture.

 

SBS Discovery suddenly found themselves without an online TV platform when partner Comoyo was disbanded in the autumn of 2013. Mediability agreed to develop a platform which would give the broadcaster total control. Since Mediability already had stored all the content distributed by Comoyo, it was possible to quickly begin to set up a new solution which also facilitated the wish to offer video on demand for TVNorge, MAX, FEM and VOX.

 

The new web TV platform Dplay was launched in February 2014, in close cooperation with SBS Discovery and Accenture.
